My dog Charlie was wrestling with a good pig and I’d run in to help her out only to find the tree they were near was full of wasps. I got stung by like 6 of them and was running around in circles screaming my head off. Charlie must have been thinking id lost my mind!! We got the pig and I returned to camp looking like a spotty puffer fish! I have so many memories of great times and awesome hunts with Charlie but sadly she passed away in January. The greatest dog I’d ever had the pleasure of meeting xxx.

This picture was taken at about six month of age–Booker will be three in July. This dog bubbles with ability and desire to hunt. We have successfully hunted chuckers and quail, but my favorite hunt is for pheasants. He can cover a lot of country and just doesn’t wear down. I would have had difficulty handling him without the use of my DT collar. I love this Collar. It is easy to use and dependable. I found this site (My Good Puppy) and ordered the DT through them. I appreciated the transaction. I have found my dog willing to respond to the gentle use of the collar and then quickly learned to respond to commands by way of the whistle or voice. I seldom use the collar now, but I do have him wear it when hunting. I have depended on the collar to help me train him on basic commands like kennel, woah, heal as well as commands while in the field. The use of the collar makes for good hunting in other ways as well. For example, a couple of weeks ago two friends and I enjoyed a great pheasant hunt in central Utah. The cover was really tall and thick — the result of a very wet summer. There were good numbers of birds, but they were runners. This meant that I had to let the dog work a little further out in order to pin the birds down. Because I could use the the collar’s beeper I always knew where he was and I knew when he was on point. We managed nine birds down during a four hour afternoon hunt. None of them came easily! Without a well trained dog we likely wouldn’t have located a single bird. The dog was manageable, well mannered, and he enjoyed the hunt as much as we did.
